Ever meet someone whose life story is so jam-packed with success adventures you don’t know whether to admire … or be (secretly) jealous?
Sometimes that “why him (or her) and not me” trap gets the best of us! Meanwhile, the solution is hiding right there in plain sight!
Because, often enough, the ‘secret’ to success is none other than being that person no one told they ‘couldn’t’.
Say what?
Yes, you read that correctly, I study patterns and behavior of successful people and I often see that no one told them they ‘couldn’t’ therefore they ‘did.’
(Thank you “inner critic” for lying to me all this time!)
Which brings us to an interview I caught on the Rubin Report. If you’re unfamiliar with Dave, he’s an outstanding interviewer with a long list of fascinating and diverse guests. On this particular day, he interviewed fellow New Yorker Jesse Itzler, an innovator who grew up in my neck of the woods, but clearly by different parents!
I can likely say Jesse was never told he ‘can’t’ as his bio is impressive and fruitful:
- NY Times bestselling author
- Wrote the mid 90’s Knick’s anthem
- Founded enterprises from private jet companies to Ziko coconut water
- co-owner of the Atlantic Hawks
- former rapper
So how does one run the gamut of so many career paths while remaining fearless and curious for more? In the interview, you’d swear Jesse was the down-to-earth guy from next door … with a twist!
Superpower = Intuition
As a leadership coach, a highlight of the interview for me was Jesse’s references to our “superpower” i.e., our intuition!
As we’re bombarded with information, thanks to social media and the advent of podcasts, Jesse says we lose our time to reflect, our alone time. And this noise causes us to lose our superpower, or, put another way, our intuition.
Influenced by everyone and everything around us, we stop exercising our gut muscle. (That’s our Third Chakra. We’ll be rolling out our masterclass on each chakra real soon!)
As I’ve stated before, top entrepreneurs regularly figure out a method to tap into their intuition, And for those lucky enough to have the “tools” we teach, all the better.

Abundance, Prosperity, Wealth!
Fact is, prosperity & wealth is your right and tapping into your ‘natural spiritual’ state is a way to get you there!
So what trips us up?
There’s this thing called ‘foreign energies’ that often gets in your way of accessing abundance or prosperity. These ‘foreign energies’ sabotage you from tapping into your ‘natural spiritual’ state.
So what are foreign energies?
When you’re feeling jumpy, depressed, worried, confused, anxious, fearful, and things like that, that’s likely not your energy. (Removing ‘foreign’ energy are tools we teach … so get ready for those lessons.)
Wealth is more than money in your pocket!
BTW, when I say wealth, a myriad of topics fall under this umbrella. Wealth goes beyond what’s in your pocket (although plenty of money is always a good thing).
When it comes to our ‘natural spiritual’ state, wealth includes:
- wealth of information,
- wealth of energy
- wealth of enthusiasm
- wealth of knowledge
- wealth of ideas
- wealth of happiness
- wealth of love, relationships
- wealth of gratitude
When you’re in you’re natural spiritual state, your energy moves and flows.
So, if you’re not in a state of abundance or prosperity or if you’re unable to tap into wealth, all that means is you have foreign energies sabotaging your ‘natural spiritual’ state.
Not to worry! Releasing energies that are not yours is what we teach.
